Twine Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Twine, a shared planning app that helps couples coordinate plans, tasks, reminders, trips, and other parts of life together.

Acceptance Of These Terms

By creating an account or using Twine, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Twine.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Twine. If the law where you live requires a higher minimum age to use online services, that higher age applies.

Your Account

You may sign in using email or a supported third-party identity provider. You are responsible for keeping access to your account and devices secure and for providing accurate account information. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.

Shared Workspaces

Twine is designed for shared couple workspaces. When you join a workspace, information you add to it may be visible to and changed by the other member. Only invite people you trust, and do not add content you are not comfortable sharing with your partner.

Your Content

You keep ownership of the content you add to Twine. You give us permission to host, process, copy, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve Twine. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to share the content you submit.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Twine to:

• Break the law, violate another person's rights, or facilitate harmful conduct.
• Harass, threaten, impersonate, or deceive another person.
• Upload malicious code or interfere with Twine's security or operation.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data without permission.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or abuse Twine except where applicable law permits it.

AI-Assisted Features

Twine may use artificial intelligence to turn text you provide into suggested loop details. AI output can be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing suggestions before relying on or sharing them, and Twine does not guarantee that AI-generated content is correct or appropriate for your circumstances.

Calendar, Notifications, And Third-Party Services

Some features depend on device permissions or third-party services, including calendar, notification, authentication, analytics, and AI providers. Your use of those services may also be governed by their terms and policies. Twine is not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

Twine's Rights

Twine, including its software, design, branding, and other materials we provide, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Twine or its materials to you.

Availability And Changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features as Twine evolves. We work to keep Twine available and reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Features may change during beta or testing periods.

Account Suspension And Termination

You may stop using Twine at any time and can request account deletion in the app settings. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect Twine or its users, enforce these Terms, or comply with law. Shared workspace records may remain available to the other member as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Twine is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. Twine is a coordination tool and is not a substitute for legal, financial, medical, safety, or other professional advice.

Limitation Of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Twine and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, use, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of or inability to use Twine. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these limitations may not apply to you.

Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms as Twine changes. We will update the effective date above and provide additional notice when required by law. Continuing to use Twine after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
